Holiday Nail Tutorial

This entire week I've been asleep.

Like no joke.

I don't know why but I just seem to fall asleep talking and doing things around the house.

So since I've been sleeping so much I forgot to wrap my Christmas gifts and so many other things. School's starting soon so I'm going to have to force myself to sleep from now on!!

Besides that CHRISTMAS IS TOMORROW~!!!

So excited!! Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year~!! I know some people are going out to parties and seeing family so I shall show you how to do your nails and make them look darn nice!! It's extremely simple to do AND I swear your nails will make any outfit look x1000000 better! I only used 3 polish so there isn't excuse to say you can't do it!! Nothing really "holiday" about this besides the season it's being posted but I think the colors can really make it look so much nicer during Christmas....

Step 1: WASH YOUR HANDS!!

You don't want like any oil and dirt on your nails or on your hands while you're doing this so go wash them NOW!!

So pick out the colors you're going to use.
You'll need a base coat/top coat, base color, and glitter!


I'm going to use this like deep red metallic color because I think bright red might be too harsh looking with other outfits. The metallic makes it super shiny under lights and makes them sparkle so much more!! I'm also going to be using a silver glitter polish to make it sparkle even more!!

Step 2: Apply your base coat to your nails


Base coat gives the polish a more smoother surface to work on. I also find it helps a lot when removing the polish from your nail!! Any clear polish will do as base coat if you don't have any!

Step 3: Apply 2 coats of red (or whatever other color) polish to the tips of your nails


Pretty much just keep the polish at the tips of your nails. A little less than half of your nails. If you have short nails be careful of how much you put on. You might want to paint as little as possible so your nails wont come out weird.

Step 4: Add your glitter to the edge of your tips


For nail art brushes just paint along the edge of your polish line for a super clean straight line. I recently lost my nail art brush so instead I chose to use the brush that came in the bottle. BE SURE TO WIPE OFF MOST OF THE GLITTER ON THE BRUSH!! You only want to cover part of the base coat and polish line.

So be sure to "wipe" the brush on the lip of the bottle and lightly trace your polish line. If you feel there isn't enough glitter you can always go back and add more this way. Adding too much could ruin it and you would have to start all over again! =[

Step 5: Add your top coat and you're done!


Like the base coat the top coat protects your nails! It also prevents them from chipping so they last so much longer!! And it makes them more shiny~~~~

Oh it looks so beautiful! And no one will ever know you did it yourself unless you like messed up somewhere or tell someone!

For New Years I want to try something similar with a gold polish and lots of foil!!! *0*

Hopefully if any of you try it will come out nicer!! This is my Merry Christmas gift to you. The gift of nice nails!!

Also! To clean the excess polish that usually drips off my nail onto my skin I use this file.
It's nice, pointy, and thin so it makes it easy to clean around the nail without messing it up!!


I always wait till the end to do it because if I try while my nails are still wet sometimes I accidentally touch it with the file and my nail polish gets ruined.

I'm going to be cleaning my room tomorrow and getting ready for Christmas~!!! I think we're having a party at my house later on today and I'm going out with Justina and Alissa later this week to go out dancing! So busy doing nothing!!

Before I go to bed I want to post a picture of these boots I bought last night while I was shopping with my Mom. I've been wanting boots like these for such a loooooong time now!!


I think they're super cute!! But!! The heel is about 4 1/2 inches tall!! Makes me 6'2" in these!! I know the universe will hate me for being tall.....but as long as they're nice it's okay!!

I'm now going to force myself to sleep!!

In Speonk again!!

So today I went back out to Long Island to visit my friend Jesse~!

I really hate the train ride to Speonk.

It's a two hour ride from my house!! I mean like in movies they make train ride seem all grand but it totally stinks! The only thing I like about riding the LIRR are the guys who punch in your tickets with the festive conductor hats!!


Literally ran out the house so no time to get ready! I look so tired and icky.
You can tell I threw my makeup on!!

After an hour I had to switch trains in Babylon.
Thankfully the doors on the train were open so I was able to just sit in there and fall asleep.






Yay I'm in the middle of nowhere!!


Starting to get irritated after two hours.


I made it!

I ended up sleeping through most of the second train ride. So lonely and cold!!
Spent the day watching movies with Jesse. I saw Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland for the first time today and I thought it was just horrible. Like my friends have been going crazy so I thought it would be a great film to check out. The entire movie was just confusing. Overall I didn't enjoy it. So sad since I'm a really big fan of Alice in Wonderland!!

I had a lot of fun today Jesse and hope to see you again sometime!! Next time I'll think of something hopefully more entertaining to do!!

Ice Skating with Moe Members!

After Sunday's practice Alissa, Justina, Tanner, Merry, and I were just walking around looking for a place to get food.
I don't remember how but some how we ended up going ice skating in Bryant Park!

We ended up having a lot of fun this day even though most of it was unplanned!! Afterward we went to Kinokuniya and looked at different books together. I think next week we might go ice skating again!! Merry is really scared! She doesn't want to go, but I'll hold her hand so she doesn't fall!!

For Thanksgiving I was feeling rather lazy about taking many pictures so I instead took a video!

It's rather long compared to the other ones I've taken but it's somewhat entertaining I guess.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Just got home from seeing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows~!

It was amazing!! Can't wait for part 2 to come out!

If you haven't seen it, GO SEE IT!! Worth every second!!

Maid Pictures!

Okay so I got around to taking my pictures for Reni's cafe yesterday.

To be quite honest I don't think the one I submitted was really that good.... It's extremely hard to take a picture of myself and have it come out somewhat decent looking!

I cut my bangs before I took the pictures but I still need to cut off a lot more. I didn't realize they had gotten so long!!

After I took the one that would be used for the cafe I decided to take some pictures on my Nintendo DSi!! I like these ones better!!

This is a lion toy I got from Reni at NYAF!! It is just like her poodle one!

DSi takes such nice pictures considering it's like such a small game camera! It reminds me of Gameboy camera that you plug into the Gameboy.

I hope when Alissa finishes editing the picture it comes out so much nicer!

Moe Rehearsal with Chica!

Yesterday morning's maid show rehearsal was so nice~!!

Reni had a performance the night before so she was unable to make it to practice that morning. So instead Chica did!! We started off with our normal stretches, and then some new ones!! I've learned something new today!! Chica is very flexible and apparently so is Merry!! I think they would both be amazing in a circus. It's sometimes quite painful to watch them! They look like pretzels!!!

During our stretches I've realize something!! I've gotten quite chubby..... So for now I shall try to lose weight! So I can be a pretzel just like Chica and Merry!

Chica took us through Neco and Crazy Genius's choreography!! Crazy Genius isn't as difficult as I thought it would be!! It's just really hard to get some of the timing and the attitude needed for the dance. Neco was fun! I've gotten better at the slide during the instrumental break in the song so now I don't even land on my knee anymore~!! I know my knee's are crying tears of cartilage joy! During a break we took I've discovered that I can dance gangsta!! Thank you Justina! I will take my new found skill use it for the good of mankind! We also worked on Shining Star, My Shy Master, and some of DNA.

At the end of practice we took group pictures as we normally do when Reni is with us!

After Practice I went straight home. I believe Merry went home and Justina went shopping, but I wasn't feeling too good. I fell asleep on the train ride..... When I got home I ate my lunch and went to bed. Later on today I'll be taking pictures for my maid head shots! I'm slightly nervous about doing this because I highly doubt I'll be able to take a good picture. Wish me luck! I'll need every last bit of it!
