Too lazy to write anything so I took a short video!
Sorry it's extremely boring. I'll make sure to keep the camera steady and not to cover the mic. Also Alina called me and we changed the date we're meeting up.
I'm totally freaking out! A lot of cosplayers are extremely stressed right now. I still need to pick up extra feathers and some wire for my wings. I'm scared it won't be done on time.
So pretty much as always I am so paranoid I will be late but today yet again I made it on time!! I swear someone "up there" loves me~ I talked to my friend Lance on my way to practice. It's been so long since I've heard from him so it made me happy~! I also ran into Myu! Turns out we were riding the same train!!
Today we did a full run through! It was fun. I liked practicing how to leave the stage. So fun~!

After practice Merry REALLY wanted to eat takoyaki so we headed to Flushing~!! The place is quite small (as is every takoyaki stand in NYC) but it was rather cute~! The takoyaki took super long to make....around 20 minutes! BUT!! It was really nice~

After takoyaki Merry went to work and my friend Johnathan picked me up to go to a block party in his area! It was really nice~! I was extremely quiet but I did enjoy it a lot! I was slightly nervous because I didn't know anyone and there were a LOT of dogs. I'm really nervous around big dogs!! Most of the time we just talked and watched everyone else run around. So nice~

This weekend was crazy busy! It always gets like this right before a Maid Show though....

Friday:
I went out and got my hair done again. The straightening process took 4 hours which was the quickest it has ever been done!! Last time I did it which was around 2 years ago it took 7 hours!! I felt bad because I kept falling asleep in the chair while the woman was doing my hair. I also got a hair cut!! I kinda didn't like it at first but I've gotten used to it~!
Saturday:
I went to practice with Reni! I was quite nervous because the train was quite slow! Right when I was about to start crying it came! Practice was nice. Chieli helped me with my stretches. She told me that if you breathe in first and then out as you stretch it becomes a lot easier!! I will remember this!! Also!! Mako came to practice! It was really nice to see her there~!! She seemed to enjoy watching practice. I really love Mako a lot. She knows a lot about anime and it makes me really happy!

After practice my friend Jamie came out from New Jersey to visit me~!! So happy~!! I really wanted to see him before summer ended and my dream came true! So Merry and me went to Kino to meet up with him. On the way there we ran into Tony, a fan of Reni's. We met up with Jamie and ended up just walking all over the city. We went to FIT because Merry needed to pick up some books and fabric from the campus. Both of the stores were closed so we ended up going to the FIT Museum. It was really small but still nice non the less!! There were so many different outfits! I had like a fangasm when I saw the outfits by Jun Watanabe. Freakin gorgeous!!
(No cameras were allowed in so I just took pictures of the pamphlet I got)
They even had the Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 handbag on display in a glass case! I wanted to smash it open and take it home! ;A;
Merry didn't seem to like the exhibit too much though..... She wanted to see more of "street fashion" then runway clothing. I enjoyed either way! Afterward we pretty much just wandered around the rest of the city going into Borders reading books with funny pictures in them.
It was a good day! I hope to do this again soon!! Next time Jamie I'll try to go out to visit you~!!
Sunday:
This was the day of Reni's Maid Show~!
It's been so long since a real maid show! I've been so used to just performances, it was a nice change of pace. I got to see a lot of people I haven't seen in so many months. It really made me happy!! I got to the venue @ 11. As I walked in I was thrown into rehearsal immediately. Neco was one song I was not expecting to be performing in. I was really nervous with the new choerography Reni had put in during the instrumental part. I had practiced it a lot at home and in practice, but my timing is always off by a few seconds! This /really/ scared me. It would be my first time doing this without a mirror to see what time I would need move at. From what I was told by Merry my timing was in sync with Chica's so everything worked out! After rehearsal I shed a few tears because a certain someone was late. It really hurt my feelings that said person didn't come on time. I really shouldn't worry about a person who can't even think of other properly..... ANYWAY~! The maid cafe was insane! There were so many people!! I'm sorry for the slightly slow service to all of my Princess' and Prince's!! We had no clue there would be so many of you! @.@ Next cafe will be much easier to manage I promise~
The performances went well! I FINALLY got to see Crazy Genius! Reni always does it at practice but when she's working on it I'm normally going over other dances with Merry and Alissa. It was so cool!! I want to do it too!! It was my first time MCing with Merry for the show so please forgive us!! We were really nervous! The show was a lot of fun though so it help take our nervousness away. All in all the show was really nice~! I got to see everyone and even meet a few new people~!
I even got a few gifts!!

I guess this sums up the weekend! This is the final post of summer. I still slightly can't believe it's over already... As tiring and hot as it was I enjoyed every second of it!
So originally I got my wig on Tuesday but I've been procrastinating about this post!! （-ロ-;）
So on with the pictures!!
Well it certainly took some time for it to come! Normally I'm used to getting things within a week. I kinda forgot when I ordered it but I think it took around 2 weeks to get to my house.
When I opened the package I was delighted by this amusing card that came inside~!!

It also came with a free wig cap!
I love it!! I really dislike the stocking ones! So restricting for hair!

The wig is sooooo soft! So nice~!! The curls are so bouncy~! I'm just worried that over time that they will tangle and they might frizz up.....

So pretty much right now I am sitting in the living room with the window up super high waiting for my package to arrive.
I already missed it once on Friday and today is the second attempt. I REALLY don't want to miss it again because after the third failed delivery attempt they will send it back to the original sender.
