********Still Editing*********

So here is my post for Sunday, Miyavi's concert~!!! Sorry it's so late!!! It's been sooo hot outside/indoors that I just sat in front of the air conditioner!!

So I set my alarm to go off @ 5am so I could get up and be out of the house by 6~! Union Square is not that far from my house! If anything it's only a 20min train ride~! But when I woke up I got up at 6! I ended up rolling over onto my phone in my sleep again and didn't hear it..... So I jumped out of bed and threw on anything I could find!! ;A; It was my first time wearing shorts too that day so I was kinda nervous... I have really fat legs and I'm not too fond of them. So after I got out of bed and finished getting ready I packed my food and a book to read~! I brought my Edgar Allan Poe book~! It has a lot of his poems and stories! But enough about that!! I also brought some Holiday gift bags to have something to sit on when I got to Irving Plaza~! And my Miyavi ticket of course~ ;D

My ticket~!! It's beautiful~!! (^∇^)ノ

So I finally left my house @ around 7am and walked to the train station. It was really hot outside!! For some reason all the trains were DELAYED that day. It's almost like the MTA knew I had to be somewhere at a certain tme and were just like "LOL LET'S GIVE EVERYONE A HARD TIME BY DELAYING ALL THE TRAINS THEY NEED! 8D". So I waited like 10 minutes for the 7 train to arrive! When I finally got to Queens Borough Plaza it took like another 20 minutes for the train. In that amount of time a MILLION 7 trains passed by!!! Really Mta? REALLY?! They just start magically start running when I don't need them again? So the N train pulls in and since the wait was so long there are like a jillion people so I was forced to stand. It wasn't too bad though.

So I FINALLY arrive at Iriving Plaza at 9am to see a pleasent little line~! It wasn't too long. It went just down to the corner of the block! There had been some girl in the front I heard who slept outside for 3 days!!! That's insane! I mean 3 days with no shower! No teeth brushing! No changing underwear!! Omg I could never do that, but I give mad props to anyone who slept out there!! So I found a nice spot near the end of the block and set down my stuff! I was number 80 something in line. It was pretty boring. I was right next to a group of girls that were dressed really cute~! One of them had on some heels I wanted to get @ Charolette Russe!!! <(*◇*;)> The other girls next to me had a board game! They were well prepared! As for me I just sat there alone (most of my friends had slept over night and were @ the front of the line) and I put on some music from my phone and just laid back and waited. I did this for around 2 hours before Syrii finally came over and was like "Omg Eri why are you alone?!". So then I decided to leave my spot in line (with my jacket and mats holding my place of course) and went off to play with everyone else~!! Everyone in line was playing games and singing!! It was really cool~! So as time went by I spent the majority of it just hanging out with Ami and Syrii and this really cool girl I met! She likes going to Hong Kong to be a designer or something~!! Make me a cute dress mystery girl~!! :3 I walked around a lot during the day and it was super hot! So Syrii, her friend, and me went to Starbucks~!!! We got water because it was free and we are broke Miyavi fans~!!

My free water~! It's in a Starbucks cup so that means it's cool~!

Syrii! She's so pretty!!

So After that I pretty much hung around the line for more hours. On my way back however I saw this really cool chalk drawing on the sidewalk~!!

So nice~! I bet Miyavi was happy to see it~!

Miyavi was caught in traffic around 4-5 because of the Gay Pride Parade on 5th ave! Everyone on the line was on his Twitter page via phone and was keeping up to date with everything he posted! And apparently Miyavi came to the venue in his underwear!

From Miyavi's official Twitter page

It's nice to know he's so open and laid back about these types of things~! Waiting on line wasn't so bad. I played some card games with Syrii and there was also a chalk drawing of a game called "The Miyavi Hop"! It was like hop scotch but waaay cooler and much harder! You would jump from umber to number in order (which btw were INSANELY far from each other) and do what each panel wou
ld say. Like the Square root of 4 is..... 2! 3+8+2=? MYV = Miyavi~! I think those two panels gave a lot of people trouble..... Like math stinks!! It was like it was a trick or something!! You would have to find the square root of 4 and then then next one is another math question so I only assumed the answer would be 13! Only after a good 10 seconds did I realize the answer was MYV! Who ever made this game you sir are very clever~! It was really fun and a lot of people on the line played it! The last panel of the game read "What's my name? What's my f*cking name?!" and everyone would scream "Miyavi~!". It really made me laugh. Miyavi fans are really fun!!

Just the very front of the line and already so many people!!

There wasn't any video taping or cameras allowed so there aren't any photos of the concert taken by me! I'm too honest and scared to do such things!! But it was AMAZING!! Like it was super crowded and I had to push my way to the front so that I could find my friend just as the concert was about to start!! Most people moved when I said excuse me, but there was this one group of super tall girls who were like right behind my friend. I said excuse me like 10x but they like ignored me. So finally I was like dude my friend is right there and this girl had the nerve to say "Well then bring her back there with you" and she locked arms with her tall friends. I was like "Oh no you didn't" and totally ducked under her stupid little chain and got in front of her. She was so pissed! I just laughed at her. She was really mean and nasty I don't know what her problem is. The girls were like as tall as the empire state building! It's not like they were going to miss anything by having a few people in front of them!! But enough of those raggamuffins! I finally got to my friend Jessenia and we talked for a bit. We couldn't really hear each other because the preshow music was blasting and we were all the way in the front. When the concert finally did start and Miyavi walked on stage I almost had a heart attack! IT'S FREAKIN MIYAVI!!!! Everything about him is just perfect! The way he walked on the stage and looked out into the audience. He really is something!! He started the concert of with his song "Survive" I believe! His energy level was through the sky! I mean it was his first song and straight from the bat it was incredible!!! The crowd thought so too because everyone began pushing and jumping and my poor friend Jessenia was lost in a sea of sweaty people!! ;A; I tried looking for her but she's pretty short...... Miyavi jumped a lot during the song too. I've like never seen anyone jump as high as he does with a guitar!! It's insanee!!! I like went crazy and screamed my brains out of course. I still can't believe I really saw him~!! After his first 2 songs Miyavi was dripping with sweat. Like his sweat was coming off his face and wetting the stage. I was very impressed with this. He puts so much energy into each song! He really makes me want to work harder when I perform! If Miyavi can perform like that then so can I! I really wish I could be more like him!

Miyavi asking everyone what his name is! Miyavi controls the audience with such amazing energy! He could blink his eye and we would all cheer for him~!
Video taken by a concert goer found on Youtube. (I assume it's upside down because they were trying to hide the fact that they were filming.)

As the concert went it began to get really hot! Everyone around me was pouring with sweat and I myself was drenched in it. It was absolutely disgusting! My hair was wet and all my clothing too! It didn't help that everyone around me was the same!! My fingers and some other peoples were all wrinkly like when you stay in the shower for too long! It was so strange!!

There was this one girl in particular in the audience who bothered me more than anyone else. It also happened to be the same girl in the previous post I made wearing the flag shorts on line to see Miyavi's interview! For the majority of the concert from about 30mins in until the end SHE HAD HER ELBOW LIKE LODGED INTO MY STOMACH!! I don't think I can describe this pain. It hurt a lot and I asked her many times to move but she ignored me. Seeing Miyavi for me was like a dream come true so I tried to suck it up and enjoy the concert as best as I could! When Miyavi looked out into the crowd I did my best to smile and cheer~~! He even played a set from his new music coming out this fall! I really enjoyed his new work!! It was fantastic!! One of my favorite songs Miyavi sang how ever would have to be "Stupid B*tch Motherf*cker". I'm like not kidding. That was like the entire song. Before he sang it he was like "Do you know what my favorite American saying is?" and everyone is like no what? and he just screams "stupid b*tch motherf*cker"! I honestly didn't know if I should laugh or cry at that moment. Laugh because it was just too cute and funny but also cry because sadly enough American's curse like it's nothing! So continued to sing and the audience cheered their brains out! As the concert went on though I began to start feeling "sick". I was running out of breath rather quickly and the air in the venue was extremely hot!! People started dropping like flies and security had to pull some people out of the audience that fainted. There was a lot of pushing and screaming and it was really getting out of control at some points. They had began throwing water onto the crowd to cool them down and even passed out water bottles (which everyone shared...ew!). The only time I enjoyed getting wet with the water is when Miyavi threw it from his water bottle~! When everyone else did it I felt so uncomfortable!! I felt like I had just jumped into a river or something! After I got my own water (which I did not share) Security was STILL screaming for everyone to move back! At that point Miyavi told everyone to back up and like magic EVERYONE took like a good 3 steps back! I swear this man has such an amazing force! One word from Miyavi and everyone does it! I know security was happy! Around this time I was in so much pain and had to rely on the tall guy in a white shirt to support me during the concert. I could barely stand let alone breathe anymore because of this girl's elbow! Like I don't understand what was wrong with her! I asked politely so many times and she ignored it.

If anyone is reading this I'm still working on this post!! Check back tomorrow if anything! A lot is going on atm so I'll try to finish this as soon as I can!! This day was really eventful and I'm trying to put in as much info as I can~! Thank you~!!

Neo Samurai Interview : Miyavi in NYC June 26 2010~!

Okay so I'm really tired and in so much pain from last nights concert but this weekend was amazing!! I'll start from Saturday!

Alright so for those of you who don't know Miyavi is my favorite male artist. I've been a fan of his for 7 years with first hearing his song "Pop is Dead" back in 2002. I can't describe how much I love this man. I like Dir En Grey and other bands too but Miyavi is just different to me. He's completely different from anything else I've ever heard and his style is all his own! I love Miyavi and not like that crazy fangirl way. Yes he's good looking and has an amazing body but he's just way more than that. He truly is a neo samurai.

So Saturday morning I woke up @ 5am to get ready for Miyavi's interview at Kinokuniya's Book Store in Bryant Park NYC! I had only found out about the interview from a friend a few days earlier. From what she told me there was a contest for 10 people to get into the interview and meet miyavi one on one! How ever she said that people could get in and they would also be giving away some more tickets to fans in line to meet him too! The catch was they had to show how much they loved Miyavi! So after hearing this I totally went crazy! I could get the chance to be 3 feet away from my idol of all time~!!

So as said before I woke up @ 5 to get ready. The event didn't start till 7pm but I wanted to show that I loved Miyavi more than any other fan!! So I woke up and planned to draw all his tattoos on my body but that proved to be too difficult so instead I picked my favorite and the least done tattoo on his body. Un-do!

This tattoo is all make up! I had gotten A LOT of complements on it and all of Miyavi's staff members thought it was real! Which is funny because I thought it looked fake!

So after I did his 'Un-do' tattoo and his trade mark '382' on my fingers I left my house @ 6:30am and arrived @ Kinokuniya at 7am sharp~!

Maad tired in Bryant Park!

With me I had brought this magazine of Miyavi when he visted LA in 07. I've been holding onto this magazne for 3 years. I bought it back when Kino was still in Rockefeller Center! Kinokuniya doesn't open until 10:30 so I decided to wait across the street in Bryant Park. It was really hot and there weren't many people in the area. I was lonely so I played with my DSi for a while~! After around an hour of sitting by myself watching pigeons chasing each other I finally saw someone I recognized! It was Yuki and a group of her friends~! They had the same I idea as I did so we hung out in the park for a while longer and we all headed across the street and sat in front of the store~! When we got there we saw the most AMAZING poster ever~!!!

If you couldn't tell already I absolutely love this poster~!

We fan girled and took pictures of it! The girls were really excited! So we waited outside together singing and talking. The heat became so unbearable we began hiding under shadows cast off by parked cars. After about another hour or two a group of 3 boys showed up! We kinda talked to them for a little while. I didn't really get their names but they seemed to be nice! After a while they went off to a store and came back later on. While waiting for the store to open we met this woman who worked there. She said she loved our enthusiasm! She even told the manager of the store how long I had been waiting! So when the store FINALLY opened the manager told us we could all stay in the store and wait inside where there was air conditioning~!! He was really nice!

Once we got in we basically hung out in Cafe Zaiya untl around 3pm when we were told that they were forming a line outside! I went out and got food around 12 or 1pm. More of my friends showed up in Kino between 12-3 and we all had DSi's so we played together~! We had a really good time!! So when I went down at 3 we made a line! It was basically some random girl (who I have no clue where she came from but claimed she had been waiting in front of the store since 7am LOLliar) then me and Yuki and her friends! By then a lot more people I knew showed up so it became more enjoyable to wait! We all talked and played games~!

Ryan was trying to be funny by putting his face in front of my camera. Well the joke was on him because the flash went off in his eyes! >D

As it came close to 5 a HUGE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE SUDDENLY SHOWED UP OUT OF NO WHERE!! It was just insane! Miyavi's staff had to come outside and separate the winners of the contest from the people who just showed up. And then they completely changed the rules of everything. They said ONLY the 10 people who won would be allowed in to see Miyavi. As you can guess upon hearing this people began to fight and argue with the staff even screaming at times! The staff then told everyone that they would only be giving out the 10 extra tickets to die heart Miyavi fans. One by one they went through the line and asked people why they think they should see him. When they got to me I was really upset. I mean I love Miyavi and to see him from a mile away would be a dream come true! To be in a room with him is something I never imagined could happen! So I told the woman as I was trying to hold back tears how long I had been waiting outside and how I've had a magazine for 3 years hoping he would sign it. That I've been his fan for 7 years and about how I cried when he had to cancel his show in November.

After that she went on down the line and other people began crying. I mean why wouldn't we cry?! They said if we came we could see Miyavi and now all of a sudden they make up new rules saying only 10 people! Not even based on who came first but for reasons why they think they should go in. It was really unfair. After a while they began calling out names and guess what? MY NAME WAS THERE! I was so shocked. Like I totally didn't think I would get picked. There were other people with flashy jrock clothing who I thought would get in for sure! Out of me and Yuki's friends only 3 of us got picked. Me, Yuki, and one of her friends. I felt awful. We had all been waiting there together and to just be split up like that was horrible. There was a lot of fighting between the staff and the people. After a while I was put on line for the people who were to go in for sure. Then the staff decided to let in 5 more people. The line was HUGE though! Even though there were only 25 winners all together the original 10 were allowed to bring friends with them so it was crazy!!

This picture is the line after the one with the random girl I pointed out!

Yeah this is totally not 25 people.....

Some girl online made this awesome shirt~!

So I waited and waited and then out of no where Merry shows up. I was like wtf Merry what are you doing here?! I think she was bored and just decided to swing by. So we talked for a while and then I was finally able to go in~! The staff had to get down ALL of our information or we wouldn't be allowed in. Like I need to give my name, e-mail, address, and my ID in order to get in. When I asked why they said it was because they need to know who is seeing Miyavi so security reasons. Also we were told there was strictly NO PHOTOGRAPHS OR VIDEOS. If the staff (who was everywhere) caught anyone dong so they would be thrown out and banned from future Miyavi events! Which I wouldn't be surprised since they got everyone's information! So no pictures for Miyavi's interview guys! ((o(゛ε゛)o)) As we walked in we were given raffle tickets. The tickets were going to be for a random drawing of 10 people to have a one on one meet and autograph session with Miyavi~!!

So we all got up stairs and it was pretty packed. We were all told to sit down so everyone could see and my gosh my legs were in so much pain! Kinokuniya isn't that big you know. We waited for a few minutes and then FINALLY! MIYAVI CAME OUT~!!

Miyavi as he entered~!! He is so freakin beautiful!!
All credit for the photo goes to the Photographer

Omg I felt like I was going to cry! Here he is! My favorite guitarist of all time standing right in front of me only 3 feet away!! I felt like I was dreaming, I couldn't take my eyes off him! So he sat down and this woman began the interview~!! It was super duper hot because of all the people so Miyavi began fanning himself with some paper. It was really funny~!! He was asked about how he felt about playing in NYC. It was his first time being here so he was really excited! Miyavi is so laid back and cool! When asked about touring the US on a tour bus and seeing the country, was he inspired by the scenery! Miyavi answered bluntly with "No, it's really boring. The scenery is beautiful but you get tired of seeing it. I want to watch the world cup in the bus, but sometimes we don't get reception!". Everyone was laughing so hard! When asked about his daughter Lovelie, and if she is showing any musical talent Miyavi said "Yeah, she is! I put on my song Survive and she cannot walk so she supports herself on a chair and begins dancing, she is a moving up and down, shaking her butt, bouncing! She is a bouncing to my song! How the f*ck does she dance before she can walk?! Before she can crawl! What the f*ck is that?!". Everyone in the room pretty much died laughing at that point! Miyavi went so far as to demonstrate by holding on to a table and had his back facing us and began shaking his butt around and bouncing up and down~! It was so cute and funny!!

He also told us how when he put on "Neo Visualizum" she would begin pumping her fist in the air off beat. "I don't know how she knows what to do! She puts her arm in the air off beat but still doing it!" Miyavi said. A lot of the questions were about what inspire him and his family. When asked when did he want to be a musician he stated that he never wanted to do music but he wanted to do professonal soccer! Due to an injury though he was left unable to play so instead he began playing guitar! Miyavi is so amazing! So as the interview went on we had a great time and lots of laughs! AND GUESS WHAT! MIYAVI PLAYED ONE SONG FOR US~! He played "Kimi ni Funky Monkey Vibration". It was so much fun~! Miyavi was totally rocking out~! It was his first song he had ever played in NYC and I was there to see it~!!! I couldn't believe it~!!!! So after his interview Miyavi began drawing the 10 lucky winners of the tickets he gave out earlier! AND HE DREW MY TICKET!!! #260829!! YES I ACTUALLY MEMORIZED THE TICKET!! I was so excited!! I screamed and then asked for them to read the number again!! I couldn't believe my little ears~!! Miyavi looked at me and started laughing. I was and still am so giddy~!!!

So after the interview they began letting everyone out except the winners of the drawing~! I had brought my Arena magazine from 2007 up for Miyavi to sign~!! He shook my hand and asked me my name~!! Omg Miyavi talked to me!!!! ME!! A little no one from New York City!! A dream come too~! ( ̄◇ ̄) I gave him my book to sign and told him I loved that issue~!! He seemed really happy~!!! I picked out a picture from the magazine and he signed it~! BUT!! Before he did he asked me if my name was spelled with a "C" or a "K". Like Miyavi couldn't even speak English 3 years ago and now here he is asking of the spelling!! I had just assumed that he would write it with a K because when you translate my name in Japanese it would be a K instead of a C. But he's really learned a lot! He knows there are more than one way to write it. It seems silly but it really made me happy~! After he was done with the signing he smiled and I told him I would see him tomorrow night and he laughed and said "Okay~!". Miyavi is super nice!! I love him~!! When the signing and hand shake event was over I was given a cute Miyavi sticker and some photos and Magazine of him! It was so nice!! Some staff members even congratulated me!

My magazine I've been holding onto for 3 years~!!!

3 YEARS!!!!!

My autograph~!!

Here are some of the other things I was given~!

Such a nice picture! His skin is gorgeous~!

Here is a page from the inside of the magazine!

After all was said and done I went down stairs to meet with Merry and some other friends who were outside waiting~!!

The ONLY time you will like ever see me this happy. I look like such a dork!

Miyavi's equipment~!

So after talking with friends we went our ways. Ami and some of my other friends when straight to Irving Plaza to sleep outside the venue! I instead went home because I'm too scared to sleep outside! It's too hot and icky!! I want to be able to shower and change my clothing!! That and I have a curfew~!

I really had a great time~! Even though sitting outside was very uncomfortable I enjoyed every second of it~!! I got to meet my all time favorite guitarist/singer and had lots of fun with friends and even made new ones~! It was an amazing day that I wished would never end~!!!

Yesterday's update!!

Well I just woke up!! It's mad late I know!! I should really start doing yoga again in the morning. Then I wouldn't be so lazy....

But yeah, so yesterday was really unproductive. I spent most of the day watching Xiaxue's guide to life, Room 101, and Chick vs Dick. They are all Singaporean web shows and I've been totally obsessed by them!!

XX Guide to Life has calmed down a lot recently I've noticed. Normally Wendy is super crazy but it's nice to see her traveling and doing nice things! I love Wendy so much she is my idol~ ♥ She's so loud and crazy annnd she's super stylish! I totally follow her blog!

Room 101 is pretty new I guess. It's funny and really gross. Like these people have to take exams while roaches and worms are crawling all over them. ( ̄□ ̄;)I feel so bad for them!! I don't care if the prize is a million dollars! I would never touch a roach!! o(*><)o

Chick vs Dick is where KayKay and Paul challenge each other to different things and the viewers vote for who they think the winner should be! So far my favorite episode has to be the accent challenge! The "Ghetto" accent part almost killed me! Oddly enough I think Kaykay did amazing! Paul was funny but he laughed too much! When it came to the Singaporean accent though I think Paul should win. This episode is really hard.... .-.

I watch too much tv. But even though I pretty much spend my day watching tv I did spend an hour dancing. I really wish I had a mirror of some sort so I could see myself. I really need to build up my stamina though! Like this is just getting ridiculous!! I remember when I could do PSM without breaking a sweat! No I can't even do the first 5 seconds without taking a break!! I guess I'll just need to spend more time dancing from now on.

Well I guess that's it for now!

Summer!!

Ahhhh~~ I'm so sleepy right now!!! ○Oo。.(T¬T)/~~~オヤスミナサイ

I wanna make a post about AnimeNext but I think I'll do that later on....

I didn't really do much today! I woke up @ 12pm and walked around my house. It's so hot outside!! I sat in front of the air conditioner today. I really dislike days like these where I don't do too much. Now that it's summer I need to start dancing again so I don't fall behind anymore. Summer makes people so lazy! ヽ(・ヘ・*)

Hopefully this summer I can go to the beach~! And I really want to go out and capture fireflies!! They're sooooo cool~!! Also I would love to get a summer job! I've never had a job before~!! I've tried to get one a few times but it always comes down to experience. How am I supposed to get any if no one hires me?! If anything I would love to work somewhere small and quiet. Like a cafe or something. I don't really like places with a lot of people or where it's noisy..... I also like cleaning~!! I would love to be a maid but I'm too scared to meet people I don't know!! (TεT;) Hopefully I wont be as shy this summer.

I really want to go shopping......

......お金がない!!{( ̄□ ̄;

I hope I find a job! ;~;

Hanging out with Shohko!

Today I met up with Shohko~!

She's really cool! I met her not too long ago through my friend Hannah. She's been here for around a month now. So today we met up and hung out around the Bryant Park area!! We had lots of fun!

I was running a little late (as always ;A;) BUT!! I finally got to Kinokuniya and we looked at some magazines!! Popsister had some really cute outfits for this summer!! I wish I could totally get the outfits but I need a job!! Oh I would spend all the money shopping!

Afterward I took her to Sephora and we looked @ all the make up!! We found a bodywash that smelled like peanuts....it was really gross! I can just imagine the pigeons chasing me down the street if I used it....

We walked around more and finally ended up @ Nintendo World! It was really empty today.... Like normally it's crowed but more games for me!~!

Mario~!!

Me and Shohko~~ I look so horrible here! ;A;

She REALLY likes Yoshi~!

Shohko playing Mario Kart Wii. She ended up getting 2nd because of a blue shell! @.@

After Nintendo World we headed back to Bryant Park where we went to the most amazing restroom!!!!

OKAY! So apparently Bryant Park has Restrooms and these toilets are AMAZING!! Not only do they flush themselves, but they can also change the plastic cover thing!!! I was like so amazed by this!! I kept waving my hand just to see it change!

The Amazing Toilet!! It looks so cool! Is it sad that I got this excited over a toilet......

After using the fantabulous potty Shohko helped me translate Reni Mimura's My Shy Master song to Romaji lyrics~!! Yay~! My Kanji is pretty bad.....I can only read Hiragana! So now that it's in romaji I don't have to struggle too much!!

I had lots of fun with Shohko and I can't wait to see her again~!!
