It's the first of September!

August is finally over!

I know most people usually think of this as the end of summer but I don't! The official last day of summer is September 21st! So until then I will enjoy what's left of these 20 days~!!

(Hopefully I can visit Jamie or he can come out here. I really miss him a lot but I do have fun talking to him over the phone.)

I didn't really do much today. I just woke up around 1:30pm and then just checked e-mails and other things. I was re-watching Tokyo Godfathers and decided to watch Paprika. I had heard of the movie a few years back but was too lazy to actually check it out. So I watched it for the first time today. It was damn amazing!! But I expect nothing less from the late Satoshi Kon~ I'm really in love with physiological films so this was totally up my alley~! It was a bit confusing at first but all starting making sense as the movie went on. For the majority of the movie my sister kept screaming "IT LOOKS AND SOUNDS LIKE INCEPTION!!". I don't really know what Inception is but from what my sister says it sounds very similar. I just assume they both came from the same book in 93'.

I think my favorite parts of the movie have to be the opening scene and when Paprika was a butterfly. I mean really now. How can you not love the opening?! It's so free and clever~! Oh, I wish I could do half the things she does!! As for the butterfly scene it's when the guy sticks his hand in Paprika's body and rips her face open. So creepy. At first I was like "Oh he's gunna get sexy~~~" but then I was like "Omfgwtf!?" so nice! The soundtrack for the movie is also nice. It's really relaxing to listen to!

After that I haven't really done much. Just walking around the house in my North Face because it's damn cold in here!! My sister doesn't want to turn off the AC because she says it's too hot outside. Not that I would know because I haven't been outside in 2 days.

Which reminds me~!!!

I went to Kumo with Annie on Monday night.
Gosh I love that place.
It's always so nice and I normally have a really good time with her~! We've been friends for around 11 years. So old!! Before that though we went to Chuck E Cheese around 9pm. They ere pretty much closing up the store when we got there. They had put in a lot of new games and I can say they are really good ones. Besides Guitar Hero (which I hate with a passion) they had some really cool shooting games I normally play in Dave&Busters, two new ball games, this cool screen thingy where you throw little plastic balls at it to kill monsters, virtual wack-a-mole ANNNNNDDDDDDDD A GIANT HAMSTER WHEEL!!! No lie. It's like this big wheel that you run inside of!! It's kinda hard at first but you need to lean forward when you run. Sadly I'm just a tad too tall to lean forward. I have to run standing straight but it's too difficult that way! It's still fun none the less but I wouldn't do all the time. It requires too much energy. I'm such a lazy person.

I guess that's it for now though. Tomorrow is my younger sister's birthday. I highly doubt we're going to do anything but I look forward to eating lots of food this weekend~!!!
